Sand Point Classic Renovation
An active family needed more space than their aging home offered. They also wanted to enhance the house’s classic appearance, and draw on the historic homes of 1920s Seattle.
We proposed a classic palette of materials such as stone, stucco, and wood to keep the house in line with the historic precedents. We also developed designs for the windows, doors, and millwork to amplify the vintage appearance.
We retained the existing fireplace, and made it the focal point of a grand new living room. The new front door is directly on axis with the fireplace.
