Aguilar Children’s Library

Work Done as Project Manager at Belmont Freeman Architects

This project is a bold, colorful renovation of a children’s reading room in a historic Carnegie Library in Harlem.  Meant to connect local children to their community and the wider world, graphics and architectural features are based on a theme of “Around the World.”  New light fixtures, evocative of celestial bodies, were installed, and screen printed maps will cover entire walls and ceilings.
